In order to stop coding, we need to start visual coding…. something doesn’t make sense…

Visual programming is programming. One person who (visually) makes a program is a programmer. It is not a degree that makes someone a programmer. Visual programming, most of the time, requires much more time than textual programming. May be in the future this will change… or may be not.

Have you ever heard about Visual Basic? No? May be WordPress rings a bell?

Let’s say that one day you could say “OK Google, I want to make a web app”… and with (many, many) sentences you build your wonderful responsive (web) application. You know what you were doing by instructing (Google) AI to build your app…? Programming!

There will be a future when developers won’t be needed anymore… that will be after all the other jobs will have been replaced by artificial intelligence and machines. Let’s just hope that Terminator was wrong about Skynet
