I would add that in case a super earth planet is inhabitable, if you land, you may never be able to go in orbit again.

This is because the weight of fuel depends on the gravity. If the gravity is too strong, the thrust you can obtain from chemical fuel will not suffice to put in orbit the fuel and an eventual payload.
